The Vancouver Eastside Educational Enrichment Society is a non-profit organization that has been serving communities in East Vancouer since 1985. We have impacted over 4,000 individuals to date, and everyday we strive to create significant changes within our community. Become part of that change!

Be Part of Our Education Programs!

VEEES has been offering educational programming since 1985. Some of the programs that VEEES has created and administered are:

Alternatives in Action (AIA): an employment placement program and referral agency for ex-offenders and income assistance recipients in operation from 1986 to 1994
Learning Front: a literacy tutor training program for GED graduates in operation from 1989 to 1991
newSTART: a pre-release living skills and transition program for offenders in seven federal institutions located in the Fraser Valley area in operation from 1990 to 1993
jobSTART: a pre-employment training program in operation from 1990 to 1998
